Yoga and meditation have been around for thousands of years. It’s interesting in the west that we are just getting to promoting yoga and meditation now and using apps and all these technology and ways to make money look there are so many yoga and meditations out there that are free. You can go on YouTube. You can get an app. You can get free stuff and the yoga that I recommend is Avinger yoga, younger yoga teachers are trained a little bit longer than most yoga teachers and they have a really good understanding of anatomy and physiology so they’re often good with helping people for injuries this is a yoga that I use to get me out of the wheelchair when I was injured as a firefighter when I had severe pain during that time in my life to a point where I’m functioning and to a point where I actually went through a two-week yoga training program so yoga is a wonderful thing for the body because it connects the mind and the body as one because we are one unit breath meditation.
Mantra meditation is saying different words and focusing on those words as well as like I said the mind body connection. We are one. Everything is integrated in our body, just like a car has all these parts and vessels and moving things around and the machine.
Our body is no different when one thing goes out of alignment or out of whack. It can cause a whole bunch of systems to go the same way so if you kind of think about that then it helps understand the body and the mind as one.
