So now that you have a lot more awareness around work, around psychology, and around just dealing with people in general, I want you to start thinking about what pain cycle is present at work.
Every workplace has good things about it and every workplace has challenging things about it – perhaps challenging people in certain roles, in certain positions of authority so if you are a manager and a leader, this is a great time to also think about your own leadership and management style, take a moment to just review the pain / dysfunctional cycle at work.
If there is turnover at work, why are people leaving? What have people said that hasn’t been acted on yet within the company all the way to the top?
What else is going on in your company that may be causing some negative things that can be changed through a more trauma-informed holistic human-centered approach? Take a minute, write those things down.
