So now, we’ve been sitting what I want you to do is I want you to get up. I want you to move and I want you to give somebody that do not mess with me a look that’s serious, look right now, give him that serious look: okay go, go, go, go, go, go. All right. Breathe. Shake it out. Shake it out. Good. All right. Now walk up to somebody and give them that man life is good. Today I got a million dollars in my pocket. I just got a pay raise. I’m on top of the world. Life is good. Look at me. All right. All right.
Write down right now. How you felt in each scenario and remember. It’s not all in your head. It’s in your body. How you feel is in your body. This is very important. I can walk through a workplace and I can see people who are sitting upright who have good posture, good energy and I can see the people who are hunched over rolled over and what this means is we’re protecting ourselves. We’re protecting ourselves we don’t want people to come in because when we’re more open or more vulnerable so understanding that emotion is motion and how we carry ourselves our posture in the workplace. We can actually start spotting things as managers, we can tell when somebody’s not doing okay based on how they’re moving and the energy they have about them so understand energy’s real. It’s not some woo-woo thing. It’s a real deal and you can do this exercise. Have your team do it and have people talk about, how they feel in their body. It’s great.
